A St Andrews Beach Brewery x Jetty Road Brewery Collaboration.
As luck would have it, two breweries located less than 20kms from each other opened their doors to the public on the exact same day back in 2017. “Over the past past three years we have formed a great relationship with the team from Jetty Road Brewery. We’re both at a similar stage of our journeys and it’s been great to see both brands grow significantly over the past eighteen months” said St Andrews Beach Brewery Brand Manager Tim Purchase.
“Grant (Jetty Road Brewery Co-Founder) and I talk regularly and and have always bounced around the idea of coming together to brew a collaboration beer. With restrictions starting to ease in Victoria, we thought the time was right to brew a beer not only to celebrate our birthdays, but provide our community with an exciting beer after a pretty strange 2020” Tim continued.
Head Brewers Matt Stitt and Blake Bowden’s goal was to add an Aussie twist to a Belgian classic. “Coastal Fiesta is a Belgian style Witbier brewed with orange peel and coriander seeds for those classic Belgian characteristics of citrus and spice. We then added some new world hops to freshen it up into a summery refreshing ale that is fitting for the Mornington Peninsula festive season” said Jetty Road Brewery Co-Founder and Head Brewer Blake Bowden.
Brewers notes – Coastal Fiesta is a Belgian style Witbier brewed in collaboration with St Andrews Beach Brewery and Jetty Road Brewery to celebrate their third lap around the sun. With additions orange zest, coriander and new world hops, this hazy Wit will keep you feeling fresh this festive season.
