A one-of-a-kind integrated brewery and agribusiness.
Every day we strive to brew great beer, serve delicious food and provide experiences to remember. We are also strongly committed to protecting the integrity of our home and repurposing the unique features of the former training facility. The stables that once housed Group One winning horses are now one-of-a-kind dining areas and the former race track and paddocks is where you’ll find our hops and orchard.
Who knew a horse training facility was the perfect breeding ground for craft beer!
Brewing beer requires a lot of energy, so we are always looking at ways to utilise natural resources and reduce our footprint on the environment. The brewery is powered by a large solar panel farm, positioned on the north facing roofs of the stables.
On the brewing side of things, we source every drop of water from our very own artesian spring, located directly below our Mornington Peninsula property. To minimise waste, all of the spent grain from the brewhouse is donated to local farms to feed cattle, pigs and sheep.
St Andrews Beach Brewery calls a pristine 92-acre property on the Mornington Peninsula home. Like the brewery and taproom, we saw an opportunity to repurpose the unique features on the property into an agribusiness like no other. The former grassed race track is now home over 8000 heritage apple and pear trees for cider production and our very own plot of Sandy Road Cluster Hops.
In addition to the orchard, you’ll find in the paddocks our expansive veggie garden and green house full of fresh veggies and herbs. As our crops grow, we hope to become a self-sustained business that showcases seasonal produce grown on the farm.
