Set among our leafy green apple orchards at the north end of our Fingal venue, our immersive picnic experience is just an hour from Melbourne CBD and 20 minutes from Sorrento.
It’s the perfect way to lose a few hours and unwind on a gorgeous summer afternoon.
Guests can be driven or walk to their private picnic area, tucked away in the orchard for ultimate privacy. Enjoy the aroma of blooming apples and the sea breeze while dining al fresco from our QR code menu.
Each picnic spot is fitted with a large wooden table and umbrella, plus eskies, a picnic rug, cushions, a speaker, and games to enjoy at your leisure. Bookings accommodate up to 12 people.
This experience is ideal for date nights, group get-togethers, milestone birthdays, family celebrations, girls’ or boys’ day out and everything in between.
Walk In Experience
For a more casual picnic option, no booking is required. Our walk-in experience is drop-in-based. Simply head to the barn, pick up a pre-made charcuterie pack and your choice of bottle of wine or beer, and make your way to the orchard for a relaxed dining experience.
You’re welcome to bring your own picnic rugs or chairs for added comfort, or borrow rugs available at the barn.
The walk-in experience is $90 and includes a charcuterie box for two, along with a bottle of wine or a 4-pack of beer or cider.
Our Location
Our Mornington Peninsula brewery calls the small coastal town of Fingal home, which is just a short drive from popular destinations such as Gunnamatta Beach, St Andrews Beach Golf Course, Peninsula Hot Springs, Alba Thermal Springs, The Dunes Golf Links & Lodge and Peppers Moonah Links Resort. The Fingal brewery is also nearby the popular coastal townships of Sorrento, Rye and Red Hill and is a convenient hour and half drive southeast from Melbourne’s CBD.

What are your trading hours?
St Andrews Beach Brewery Fingal is open daily. Please note that our kitchen service ends 1 hour prior to the venue closing.

Can I visit the brewery without a booking?
Yes, absolutely! We leave tables unreserved in our beer garden and bar area for walk-ins.
Can I bring my dog to the brewery?
Yes, we allow dogs in our outdoor beer garden. We kindly ask that dogs always remain on a leash.
When are your picnics available?
We run our picnics through the summer and autumn months. Picnic bookings are available Friday-Sunday between 12pm-4pm.
Do you offer electronic gift cards?
No, we distribute physical gift cards that work like a debit card. You can use the gift card repeatedly until the loaded value has been exhausted. You can pick up a gift card from our online store or from our retail store The Barn.
Do you have a playground?
No, we do not have a playground onsite at our Fingal brewery. Kids are most welcome to visit the brewery with their parents or guardians.
Do you have a courtesy bus?
No, we do not have a courtesy bus service. If you require a bus service, we can provide you with the details of local providers.
Do you make gluten free beers?
No, we do not produce gluten free beers. All products made at our brewery contain gluten or traces of gluten.
Can I bring a cake?
Yes of course! You are more than welcome to bring a cake with you to the brewery. Please let our friendly staff know if it needs to be refrigerated.
